Process of making an engagement ring
Stone type and design
It all starts with the idea of the desired engagement ring. First, it is good to determine what stone you want it to be - a diamond or another gemstone. Do you have a preference for the shape, color, size or quality of the center stone and will there be complementary small diamonds or other type of stones on the jewelry? Have you decided what color gold you prefer it to be and have an idea of its design? You can send us pictures from the internet for reference or a sketch of the desired design. We also encourage you to take a look at our portfolio with the filter "engagement rings" from where you can also draw inspiration. Even if you don't have an answer to these questions, our team will be happy to advise and guide you in your choice.
Making an offer
In addition to all the design details, we need to specify the budget in which your engagement ring project will be realized. Since the prices of diamonds, and other gemstones, can vary a lot depending on their size and quality, it is a good idea to set a range that will be comfortable for you and sufficient for the workmanship. All gemstone proposals are personally selected by our gemologist and diamond appraiser.
The next step is for us to prepare a custom quote with all the details and time frame for fabrication. Payment is split into two parts - 50% upfront and the remaining 50% before delivery.

Making the ring
Depending on the nature of the design, some of our jewellery is made entirely by hand and others using a 3D model. If a model is required, then you must approve the rendering before it is cast in gold. This is the time to see a visual of what your engagement ring will look like. Once you are happy with the design we proceed to the fabrication. Our master jeweler with years of experience in fine jewelry is responsible for this. Engagement rings are jewellery designed for everyday wear and we insist that they are made with uncompromising strength and finely detailed.
Receiving the ring
The engagement ring is ready and I guess you can't wait to see it in person.
The jewellery arrives to you luxuriously packaged with a certificate of authenticity. If the gemstones have accompanying certificates from a lab (we only work with certified diamonds over 0.30ct.), of course we send you those as well.
The delivery is free of charge, with the actual value of the ring, to the Econt office of your choice. International deliveries are specified in advance when making the offer.
